I was lucky enough spend some great years in a small town in Ontario playing in a fun and sometimes good cover band. I was the drummer and in my head was pretty sure i was the next best thing to Tommy Lee but had yet to be discovered. Its amazing what a mullet and a half assed mustache will do for you when you are 17 and its 1992. Anyways during this time while my band played a souped up version of Brown Eyed Girl , another band on the scene kicked everyone's asses playing original songs or obscure covers from bands like Danzig or the like. The bands name escapes me at the moment, but it was headed up by an all around musician, recording engineer, producer, and very talented individual named Jordon Zadorozny.
My band at the time would record in his studio, which i do remember the name of, Reciprocal Recording (i think), and although our cheesy originals about street youth would go unnoticed, Jordon developed his art of studio wizardry and went on to form a great band called Blinker the Star and become a heck of a songwriter and producer.
Just thought i would share a few links with you to check out.
