Ciao from Italia!

In the last few days we have had a bit of a medical issue within the band prompting us to have to cancel or postpone two shows. This gave us, the crew, a few days off in Verona ITaly, which is where i currently sit. What an amazing city , and what a beautiful day to explore it and all its charm. It is after all the inspiration behind Romeo and Juliet from William Shakespeare. In face today i found myself underneath the balcony of miss Juliet of where the classic "balcony" scene is said to have taken place.

I must admit i may have even wrote a small note to include on the wall leading up to casa Juliet. Hey , what can i say..."when in Rome.." ..or in this case..when in Verona! To be perfectly honest it was a great day, the sun was out, not too many people, good company on my walkabouts , and a trial use of a killer camera lens from my good friend Shawn!
The following is sorta how my day went today..a glimpse into how i see things from my viewfinder....enjoy...

More to come when my internet connection is a lil better.....

okay here are some more...

Oh and I just like to look at myself.....:)

Patience thru pictures

As i sit here in the crew room in Liverpool England , i am patiently awaiting the arrival of my truck into the loading bay. Just for the record we have 16 trucks on this tour and my truck is number two. THis means that it is the second to be loaded out at the end of the night, and the second to last truck to come in for the morning load in. So i thought i would excersise a little bit of morning patience by posting some pictures from my recent day off in Glasgow/Edinburgh.
hope you enjoy...

Glaswegian and the Scottish brigade!

I must start this edition of on the road with Craigers by saying that yesterday was one of my favorite days off while on the road in recent memory. I am currently working on going through the photos and will post them sooner than later. So you are probably wondering what the hell i did. Well, i had a man - date. Thats right a mandate! I am comfortable enough with my sexuality to say that i spent the day with my good friend Jamie. You will all soon come to know Jamie as one of your own as i plan on doing "webisodes" involving life with Jamie on tour! Probably one of the funniest human's i know, and i am proud to say he is a good friend of mine!
Alright all that being said, can somebody please tell me what the hell these people in Scotland are saying when the speak!! Dear god how many times do you have to ask an english speaking person to repeat themselves before one can actually understand what they are saying! I am not taking the piss or trying to be offensive, but honestly the thickness of the accent and the dialect makes it almost impossible to understand something on the first pass through.
Having been thrust into the throws of the Scottish during a beautiful day off yesterday my man-date consisted of a train ride to Edinburgh and a trip back in time to when castles and canons ruled the land. I am very lucky to live this life i live and travel the way i do. If only the shows and work didnt get in the way of the time off...
Pictures to follow....

Its no Banksy...

One of my favorite graffiti artists (stencil medium) would have to be Bristol's very own Banksy.
This picture from a wall here in Sheffield is no Banksy but is quite cool in its own right. In fact there was quite the theme throughout this city done in the same style as the below photo.
Let me just say that Sheffield is industrial England at its finest...which is why i have next to nothing to say in this post. Today is however our first of 18 UK/European shows. Busses have arrived and they are mostly double deckers, which is cool! There is nothing quite like sitting on the top level of the bus at the very front watching the road up ahead!
