Today is December 1st 2009, and the twentieth anniversary of World Aids Day. HIV and AIDS continues to be one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history and too many of us still have our heads buried in the sand.
I do not pretend to be an activist or someone who is involved with helping to further our goals in beating this disease. I am however a man of compassion and in my own way support the cause and salut those who speak out or dedicate their time to finding a cure.
I recently became friends with a man who is HIV positive and have found myself inspired by his story and wanting to educate myself more and perhaps support more towards the cause in the future. I have never met anyone in my life that is HIV positive and was quite intrigued by his story. I recommend you click on the link below and take the time to watch the video.
